Fall Festival in Miss Krape's Room

Here's what's happening in Miss Krape's room.  The third graders are working on a bingo project and they're watching a movie having a cool time.  In Miss Krape's room they're having donut holes and working on spider pumpkins.  They made handprint trees, so there is what is happening in Miss Krape's classroom.

Simple Machines on Display....

Students in Mrs. Hubbard's class this week designed and shared with classmates their simple machines. Students then gave written reports on their projects and explained how each project worked. Here are just a few designs...

That Kindergarten in Busy...

Kindergarten is really busy...

...They have been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar this week, so they are ready for their field trip to the Community Arts Center.

...They are painting sweatshirts and t-shirts with fall-colored leaves.

...They are illustrating and writing a sentence to describe their artwork.
...And, I caught Mrs. Hoffman and the other teachers today reading talking about a scrap book in which all students will be designing their own page. Cool Stuff.

Catch a falling Snowflake....

Look at my CRAZY friends from Mrs. Morehart's Kindergarten class. Mr. Greevy caught them "taking a 'snowflake break'" on their way to gym class yesterday. Boy, were they having fun.
